As a long time fan of the Kirby series, I recently picked up Kirby Mass Attack for the Nintendo DS. I haven’t had enough spare time to play much into it yet to formulate a proper opinion on it, but the bits I have played kinda make me feel like something’s missing. I’m not sure what it is, but it just doesn’t feel… right. Except for the unlockable Pinball mini game – that thing is awesome. To rectify the fact that this new Kirby game doesn’t quite feel right to me, I’ve decided to go back a ways and approach one of the earlier games in the series: Kirby’s Dreamland 2.
There will not be any sort of embarrassing challenge scenario attached to this one like there was for Kirby’s Dreamland. Be thankful, as that was a horrible experience for everyone involved. (Not really, I had a good time with it.) Let’s get started with a surprisingly short triple feature, shall we?
World One: Pretty much the standard Kirby World One.
World Two: Murdering all wildlife.
World Three: Washing it down with a standard Kirby water level.
What further mysteries does this old (but not as obscure as other things I tend to do) title hide? We’ll find out together!
